Hey Austin Podcasters,
Things have been pretty wild, to say the least. We find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic and the future is filled with uncertainty. All of our loved ones, our friends and family, are being challenged in new an unsuspecting ways. Many are being directed to work from home, if their job allows, while many more are still being directed to report into work. On a worst case, many have lost their jobs.
The only thing I know that we can do, is band together as a community, and support one another.
I’m not going to say anything new that you haven’t heard before. Now that I am feeling better, I wanted to let you all know that I am thinking about you all and wishing you all the best!
Lastly, if you can, safely, support your community and local podcasters. Donate to their patreon, or buy some of their merch. Promote and retweet their shows, and leave a review. Help your local restaurants and businesses by ordering take-out. Get groceries, or have them delivered for someone that is more at risk so that they do not have to be out in crowds. Be sure to follow all guides and recommendations from CDC and Austin Public Health. Stay home if you do not have to be out.
This is going to be a long road but we can each do our part as members of the community. Keep podcasting! You are helping people keep their minds off the news. Take care!
